James F. Patten, M.D.
A 1977 graduate of the University of Northern Iowa, Dr. Patten
took his medical training at the University of Iowa College
of Medicine. After receiving his medical degree in 1982, he
spent four years of obstetrics and gynecology residency at
the University of Nebraska. Dr. Patten, who is board certified
in obstetrics and gynecology, began private practice in 1986.
Karen M. Kemp-Glock, D.O.
Dr. Kemp-Glock is a graduate of Texas Lutheran College
and received her Master of Science degree in 1988 at the University
of Iowa. She attended Medical School at the University of
Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines and
received her degree in 1995. After completion of her residency
at Michigan State University she joined Women's Health Services
in 1999. Dr. Kemp-Glock is board certified.
Melinda C. Hansen, M.D.
A graduate of the University of Notre Dame, Dr. Hansen entered
medical school at the University of Iowa and obtained her
medical degree in 1997. Her residency was at the University
of Connecticut and upon completion in 2001 she began her practice
in the state of Connecticut. She returned home to Iowa to
continue her private practice at Women's Health Services in
2003. Dr. Hansen is board certified.
Tracey A. Kopperud, D.O.
A Luther College graduate in 1998, Dr. Kopperud received
her medical degree from Des Moines University, Osteopathic
Medical Center in 2002. She recently completed her residency
at the University of Missouri Kansas City in June 2006 and
joined Women's Health Services in August 2006. Dr. Kopperud
is board eligible.
Jennifer L. Gabel, D.O.
Dr. Gabel received her Bachelor of Science degree from Loras
College in Dubuque, Iowa with studies abroad in Ireland. She
obtained her degree in medicine from Des Moines University
- College of Osteopathic Medicine. Her residency in Obstetrics
and Gynecology was completed at St. John’s Mercy Medical Center
in St. Louis, Missouri.
Theresa Hohertz, Nurse Practitioner
Theresa graduated from Mount Mercy College in Cedar Rapids
with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. While continuing her
career as an obstetrical nurse she received her Master’s degree
in women’s health from the University of Nebraska Medical
Center. Ms. Hohertz joined Women’s Health Services in July
2009.
